The fruits of their labor (12/28/2008)
Ben Feder never expected his first vintage wine, produced in 1977 at his vineyard in Clinton Corners, to cause a traffic jam.
But that is basically what it did with the help of noted wine columnist Frank Prial, who declared in a “little squib” in The New York Times that Feder’s Seyval Blanc was the “best white wine produced in the Eastern United States.”

Clinton Vineyards celebrated it's 30th Anniversary (06/17/2008)
On Saturday, June 14, Phyllis and Ben Feder of Clinton Vineyards threw a special party to celebrate the release of their 30th anniversary vintage, the Seyval Blanc 2007. The day was hot and humid, but everything was cool underneath a tent set up near the Dutch barn that houses the winery and tasting room. As The Dangling Success played smooth and groove-infused jazz, guests sampled some of Clinton Vineyards’ products paired with delectable tidbits and scrumptious desserts. Displayed at the back of the tent were some of Ben Feder’s watercolors, most depicting scenes from a recent trip to Mexico (this talented man merits exhibition space at one of our local galleries).
